Range

Southern Texas, Eastern Mexico.
Type Locality: “Pisté, Yucatán, Mexico”

Season

multiple flights, April 1-Nov. 30 at least (2)

Food

larval host reported as Albizia (Fabaceae)

Life Cycle

Occasional outbreaks of 300 or more individuals in eastern Cameron Co., TX (NABA-SoTX)

Remarks

Most reliably found at Laguna Atascosa NWR, Rio Hondo, Cameron Co. and at Resaca de la Palma State Park, Brownsville, Cameron Co., TX
