This looks like a lesser spanworm moth, but not exactly like the pictures online. So I wanted to double check.

Your moth looks like the Confused Eusarca, and it has the field marks of that species given by my Peterson moth guide: rounded faint AM line, straight yellow-edged PM line fades before reaching the apex, black discal spot on each wing.

Eusarca maybe...
I photographed and am trying to pin down what I think is the same moth last night...so far I am thinking Eusarca...confusaria...not sure yet though.
