Size: 1 1/2" maybe
I'm not sure of the size as this dragonfly was a ways away balancing on a waterwillow plant. Many thanks for telling me which of the orange ones it is....Denise K.

Books on TX Dragonflies
Hi, Many thanks for your help in ID-ing these various dragonflies. Would you by chance know of a really good illustrated book on Texas dragonflies and damselflies....or maybe even a really great website ?

The best field guide for TX odonates is (1) by Dennis Paulson.

Martin Reid and Greg Lasley cover many TX odonate species on their websites.
