We were walking along the "Mountain Mist Trail" at Monte Sano State Park when we had to duck under a log. After a quick "eww" from a fellow hiker, I snapped the picture of this one underneath the log we were ducking under. Huntsville, AL.

Narceus americanus (Beauvois, 1817) (Spirobolida: Spirobolidae) again, the most common millipede species in eastern North America.
