...and post pics of each specimen separately; should be straight dorsal views (oblique angles like here are not good for identification)

[1] Please crop images down just to the bug (i did it here for you); [2] if the two are not the same individual, they should be unlinked, and size fields edited accordingly

i'll then ask our experts to take a look; btw, this is not a Chalcophora [a close relative, tho]
