Moved Tentatively...
The off-set angle is just enough to throw me off. Also, in the enlarged pic I THINK I can see membranous tarsal pads (although not 100% sure)...so close to being an IDable image...but...not...quite...

Unfortunately
I have no better images ... a few others from about the exact same angle, but none seem to show the tarsi any better than this one (though I am not sure precisely what I am looking for there; is there a link you could send to show me?). I appreciate your effort. The beetle did not seem to appreciate being photographed, as it left when I tried to change angles.
