Slaty Skimmer? - Libellula incesta - female

Slaty Skimmer? - Libellula incesta - Female
Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia, USA
June 16, 2013
One of two photos for this organism: I had assumed this was a female (or immature male) Slaty skimmer, but now I'm second-guessing myself. Could it be a Bar-winged skimmer? Or something I don't even know about? Heh. This dragonfly was photographed in my backyard. It was tearing into and devouring a lovely Two-lined spittlebug. My neighborhood is on the edge of a fairly nice wetland, so anything goes on the dragonfly front. Any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated. I blog a lot of this stuff and absolutely abhor the idea of misrepresenting a species. Best to be sure! Thanks to you!
