Narrow blackish beetle with red face and pale tibia and tarsi - Dichelotarsus

Narrow blackish beetle with red face and pale tibia and tarsi - Dichelotarsus
Santa Fe Ski Basin, Santa Fe County, New Mexico, USA
June 18, 2013
Size: ~9 mm
Sorry about the different exposures. It looked about this color to me.

In a meadow in spruce-fir habitat. When I picked it up, it climbed up my sleeve. When I tried to move it because it was getting too close to my shoulder to photograph, it fell without flying.

Cantharidae?
