Large Dolomedes t. ? - Dolomedes tenebrosus

Large Dolomedes t. ? - Dolomedes tenebrosus
Fairfield/Central Maine, Somerset County, Maine, USA
June 15, 2013
Size: 20-24 mm Body
this one is missing a leg, but seems to have a den under my "at grade" deck...
Sometimes I can get close, but other times it hides under the deck if it sees me from over 30 feet!

Also, not sure if they do this, but I think there are at least 2 of these sharing the same living den/area...

I suspect tenebrosus because of the broken "W" mark and the far distance to permanent water source.
