On milkweed - Tenodera sinensis

On milkweed - Tenodera sinensis
Churchville Nature Center, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 16, 2006
I would like to believe that this shy mantis on a milkweed plant is not one of those non-native invaders. Please, let me know.
Unfortunately it is the non native Chinese predator.

Chinese Mantid
Guide. Of the mantids found in PA, only Stagmomantis carolina is native.

Thanks
Disappointed. Not worth keeping. They are a dime a dozen, unfortunately. I will keep looking for Stagmomantis.
