Jumping spider

Jumping spider
Hickey Island, Roque Bluffs, Washington County, Maine, USA
June 18, 2013

am thinking this is female H. agilis

Not agilis
It's not an agilis. It could be a well-marked borealis, or maybe a Pellenes.

Moved
Moved from Pelleninae. Taxonomic changes have eliminated this subfamily; this is just a housekeeping move.

Is the taxonomy on the family guide page up to date?
In which case this "no taxon" page actually represents a taxon, namely Salticinae: Plexippini: Harmochirina?

Work in progress
A couple of editors are updating the taxonomy on the family info page, but the plan at this point is to just have the genera listed alphabetically to simplify navigation for our users.

Moved
Moved from Jumping Spiders.

Hmmmm
I wonder if this is one of the Pellenes. I'm not too familiar with the genus, but the abdomen pattern seems approximate. Another possibility is a female Habronattus.
