Unknown Cicada - Okanagana noveboracensis

Unknown Cicada - Okanagana noveboracensis
Creighton, Northern, Saskatchewan, Canada
June 20, 2013
Size: ~37mm
This year for the first time that we can remember there has been what sounded like cicadas singing all over the place. We had been out looking for orchids and they seemed to be singing on every road we went down. We even had one singing in our yard yesterday. It was high up in an aspen. Today at Birch Lake we heard another one and while walking around it stopped its song and B spotted it in a small willow. Very cool. I think it might be Okanagana canadensis. Ideas?
