Orangish butterfly - Polites draco

Orangish butterfly - Polites draco
Santa Fe Ski Basin, Santa Fe County, New Mexico, USA
June 18, 2013
Size: 25-30 mm?
On Mertensia franciscana (Franciscan lungwort, bluebells), possibly because of an instinct for color combinations. By a stream in spruce-fir habitat. A skipper? Unfortunately I didn't get any other shots.

Note large jagged center PM spot on HW

Moved from Grass Skippers.

Thanks
for the ID and the tip.

Sandhll Skipper?

Thanks for the subfamily
and the suggestion. Seems it would be an odd Sandhill Skipper, but I don't have any better ideas.
