Noctuidae: Spaelotis clandestina? - Spaelotis clandestina

Noctuidae: Spaelotis clandestina? - Spaelotis clandestina
Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
June 20, 2013
Size: Length ~ 2 cm
This adult emerged from the pupa case on 20 June 2013, and the specimen does indeed appear to resemble the Clandestine Dart (10926), I think. I've a heck of a time distinguishing between Spaelotis clandestine (10926) and Graphiphora augur (10928). Graphiphora appears later in the season and is larger, I see, so this specimen is likely to be Spaelotis.
