Cleridae? - Aulicus femoralis
Yetman Trail, Tucson Mts., Pima County, Arizona, USA
September 20, 2006
Size: ~8-10mm
Found on Dalea pringlei next to a wash. I'm guessing it's a Clerid, but would like to know if I'm correct and if possible what genus/species.

"That red and black clerid from AZ (on Dalea; Tucson Mts) that Bob Beatson posted on Bugguide is probably Aulicus femoralis Schaeffer.
