Lynx Spider - Oxyopes salticus

Lynx Spider - Oxyopes salticus
Beavercreek, Greene County, Ohio, USA
June 2, 2013
Photographed on Hydrangea paniculata. Previously a lynx spider I have posted to bugguide has been ID'd to Oxyopes scalaris, but this one looks distinctly different from that general population in my garden to me. Much paler, for one (very striking from a distance, which first attracted my 8 year old daughter's attention), and also greenish legs. Possibly Oxyopes salticus?

Moved
Moved from ID Request. I agree. Not the short longitudinal black stripe on the side of the cephalothorax in your second image.

Yes, salticus
Good call

Thank you
for the confirmation, John and Jane. I seem to be improving on ID'ing spiders (still relatively helpless on flies though).
