It's a Widow Underwing [Catocala vidua]. You can find it on Plate 34 of Covell's Eastern Moths.

to me it looks like either that one or 8790 -- Dejected Underwing Moth (Catocala dejecta).
How can you be positive?

C. vidua
The black streaks on dejecta are thin and scattered about the wing. On vidua they are thicker and often appear "connected" throughout the wing.
