Size: approx 13mm
This shinny metallic-GREEN insect was radiant in the sun, as it marched along the edge of a shaded metal windowsill. It was 9:30 am and already 26C and humid.

This is a look-alike. Dorsally detectable differences:
- 1st antennomere black (instead of yellow in Gaurotes)
- 2nd antennomere about half as long as 3rd (instead of 1/3 as long)
- pronotum with apparent transverse depression near base (less so in Gaurotes)
