Definitely not E. mucronatum
The pubescence is too evenly distributed and the spine on antennomere III is way too short for that species. This should be the rare E. tectum LeConte, which seems to be primarily a coastal species based on the very few specimens in the FSCA.

Thanks for the attention and correction! I searched for this on BG, no results. Rare? Now I'm wanting to know more.

 
Definitely rare
I've seen fewer than five specimens in more the 40 years. It may be associated with sabal palms, but nobody knows for sure. Almost all specimens known have been collected near the coast if not actually next to the water.

I have three sabals at the back of my yard. Next to those, is a creek.
