Named in honor of collector Gustave W.
Belfrage (1834-1882).
Cecrita belfragei (Grote, 1879), n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021)
(1), was formerly placed in the genus
Rifargira in Becker (2014)
(2) who transferred it from
Heterocampa.
Size
Grote (1879) reported a wingspan of 36 mm.
