Heliria cornutula
ID determined by Matt Wallace. This species needs to be added to the guide; it likes sweetgum

Moved from Heliria gibberata.

Can you tell us a bit about Matt Wallace?
That name is unfamiliar (at least to me). Thanks.

Sure
Matt Wallace is one of the experts on treehoppers, at least for the eastern U.S. He is currently working on a field guide for treehoppers of the eastern U.S. Dr. Hamilton gave me his contact, and Matt is a colleague of Mark Rothschild, another expert.

Thanks!
The images have been moved. Please note, for future reference... There is a forum dedicated to requests for new Guide pages here.

Thanks Ken!
I did not know about that forum

Heliria gibberata
similar to H. molaris, but the crest is vertical in front

Thanks!
Thanks a bunch Dr. Hamilton! I thought it was gibberata but wanted some confirmation.
