E. leucomelas seems to be the best match, despite an overall color pattern reminding of E. bidens and - indeed - Monobia quadridens.
Floridan populations of many Vespids species show special color patterns when compared with individuals from elsewhere - even the nearby South-Eastern States.

 
The fact that it was from FL...
...contributed mightily to my caution. :)

My first thought was Monobia quadridens, but there's something about it that makes me a tad uncertain, so I'll let the specialists take it from here.
