Three Species of Wolf Spiders - Tigrosa georgicola - female

Three Species of Wolf Spiders - Tigrosa georgicola - Female
Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas, USA
July 1, 2013
Size: ~1 inch body length
Here is a better image of the Tigrosa georgicola.

Here are the three species of larger wolf spider native to my area. The first one is a Tigrosa georgicola (above), the second is identified as a Tigrosa helluo (below), and the last is a confirmed Hogna carolinensis (below). Size reference is to a quarter. *Note the helluo and carolinensis have been soaking in 70% isopropyl alcohol for over a year, hence the discoloration. Also, all three are female.
