Olla v-nigrum
Finally found my larval key - the double setae are diagnostic for O. v-nigrum in North America.

probably O. v-nigrum, will confirm soon
It's remarkably pale for O. v-nigrum, but it's also a late instar and probably on the verge of pupation, and the thinly-stretched integument could make it look paler than usual.

The two setae on each struma are going to be enough to ID this for certain, I know that's unique to one sp. in North Am., I just have to check my larval key tonight.

I thought so, too
it just seemed rather big

probably b/c it's at end of 4th instar
At their maximum size, right before pupation, larvae are about twice the length that they'll be as an adult.
