Size: 2 cm
Relatively large elaterid beetle hanging around what I think was Pinus sabiniana, mixed pine / chaparral habitat. Seemed to be attracted to my headlamp.

Moved Tent...
Genus is in bad need of revision but based on size (assuming it's a relatively accurate measurement), color, antennomere XII being shorter than XI, and location in southern coastal CA, this ID should be sound...
