Omus dejeanii
Greater night-stalking tiger beetle.

Omus
. Night stalking tiger beetles (
Omus
) range along western North America from British Columbia almost to northern California in dense woodland, are flightless, and are considered the most primitive of extant tiger beetles (most similar to the ancestral group that gave rise to tiger beetles).
