Bizarre - Phylloscelis atra
Desoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
July 6, 2013
Size: 4mm
So strange I didn't even know where to start -- although I did a lot of unsuccessful browsing in the Guide! Found on Giant Ragweed beside a jogging path with mixed woods, a field and a deep creek-bed nearby. I've included a bunch of pictures here since it was very active and I couldn't get it to display all its amazing characteristics at once. It was capable of some serious hopping!
