fly - Milichiella arcuata - male

fly - Milichiella arcuata - Male
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
July 10, 2013
Size: ~3mm - body
I noticed that this fly had a white abdomen which I thought was unusual. The streaking on the thorax is a reflection of an overhead light for the body was a very shiny black in color without any color variation.
