These are crawling on us and in the house. They are the size of the smallest speck of dirt. Help! What is it?

Dermanyssina
It could be Ornithonyssus sylviarum (northern fowl mite, Macronyssidae) or a Dermanyssus species (Dermanyssidae), but it's definitely a mite from the mesostigmatan group Dermanyssina. My bet is that you have a bird nest on your house or in your attic and the young have just fledged, resulting in hungry mites looking for a meal elsewhere. These mites can't survive on human blood and will eventually starve.

Thank you
Yes I removed all old nest, and we are now bug free! Thanks for the info.

Moved for expert attention
Moved from ID Request.

It's a mite of some kind. It bears a resemblance to Ornithonyssus...

...but I'm not an expert, and it could certainly be something else. You may be interested in this article about mites in the home.
