Hmm, I wonder why the millipedes never get any replies other than "moved from ID request"

Many millipedes simply can't
Many millipedes simply can't be identified from photographs. Some you can take to family or even genus, but many IDs can't be 100% accurate without photos of the male genitalia.

There aren't very many millipede experts
on BugGuide (or in general), and often the diagnostic features are hard to find in photographs.
