Juvenals or Horace Duskywing - Erynnis horatius

Juvenals or Horace Duskywing - Erynnis horatius
Oscar Scherer State Park, Florida, USA
September 24, 2006
This is either a Juvenal's or Horace's Duskywing? Which one?

According to
James Scott's book, horatius has 3 or 4 flights in FL, spanning Mid Jan to Mid Oct.

juvenalis has 1 flight in FL from Mid Feb to Early April.

So perhaps the time of year will dientify your bug; appearance of the upper surface won't as I understand it.
