moth - Eacles imperialis

moth - Eacles imperialis
Colchester, Chittenden County, Vermont, USA
July 14, 2013
Size: about 3 inches across

Moved- Pine imperial
Moved from ID Request.

This is Eacles imperialis pini, the "subspecies" found in northern VT, and likely the only subspecies still found in the state.

A great submission as it is the first pini from VT in the guide.
