Great photos of an interesting species, and the first post of it for BugGuide (moreover, I could find few images elsewhere on the web).

Research on T. cristinae has been a source of many interesting questions and studies regarding the particulars of how speciations occurs. For more on this, see this nice article from the Smithsonian, as well as:
