weevil - Cryptorhynchus fuscatus - female

weevil - Cryptorhynchus fuscatus - Female
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
July 15, 2013
Size: 8mm

Cryptorhynchus fuscatus LeConte, female
Moved from Cryptorhynchus obliquus. I think this is just a large Cryptorhynchus fuscatus.

Cryptorhynchus obliquus Say, female
Moved from Cryptorhynchus. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

I'm still somewhat unsure of this one and 688634, but I'm sure they are the same species. Based on rexamination of the first one you sent and this additional specimen, I am more inclined to call these C. obliquus. If so, it is a new state record (closest were NJ and PA). Size is 8 mm.
