Philanthus bilunatus
A male by the heart-shaped yellow spot above antenna bases. Females prey on Halictidae species - Metallic Green bees, Halictid and sometimes the Yellow-faced bees.
Similar to Philanthus lepidus, but P. lepidus does not have the squared-out notches (emarginated) on yellow stripes on abdomen segments 3 to 5. The inner edges of the yellow crescent shapes on segment 2 are closer to lower or bottom of the segment margin. In P. lepidus the inside edges are closer to the base or top margin of the segment.
