Wolf spider - Tigrosa georgicola

Wolf spider - Tigrosa georgicola
Rockvale, Rutherford County, Tennessee, USA
July 7, 2013
Large!

Moved
Moved from Spiders. Nice shot. The banded legs and strong yellow/orange stripe on the carapace suggest Tigrosa georgicola. They are very similar to Tigrosa aspersa, but in that species the carapace stripe is only bold/strong on the front portion near the eyes (as opposed to this one where it is bold and extends the full length of the carapace).

Great information!
Thank you so much for your help and explaining the spider ID. I love learning!

Moved for expert attention.
Moved from ID Request. I agree that this is a wolf spider. If you have a dorsal view, it will help the experts narrow it down.

No...only side shots
No other pictures other than the side view.
