Need some help with this humped spider ID - Araneus saevus

Need some help with this humped spider ID - Araneus saevus
Fairfield, Somerset County, Maine, USA
July 21, 2013
Size: +/-6.5mm
The closest thing I can find (Cat-faced) in the guide, so far, seems impossible due to location, and it seems to not have the correct marks.
I know many of these weavers vary a lot, so maybe an expert will know right away?
It was sitting in a large orb web on a vertical screen panel. The web was nearly 18"-24" across, and fairly neat.
It did not flinch even a little while I took pictures.
I went back about 50 minutes later to get a measurement, and both spider and web were gone without a trace!

FYI, Each hole of screen it is on, is 1mm exactly, so size was figured by counting squares.
