According to John Brown, Tortricid specialist at the USNM, to whom I sent the photograph. Other possibilities cannot be ruled out. (no rsvp, thanks)

How do you tell the different Platynoda's apart? It sin't completely clear to me that one can.

Certainly there are some with "lots of dark" and others with "lots of some other color". Maybe range helps too.
