Size
Edwards (1881) reported a wingspan of about 31 mm.
Identification
Resembles Lycomorpha pholus, but with the black area of the forewing less extensive.
Thorax orange.
♀ abdomen is orange both above and below.
♂ abdomen, antennae, and tarsi are black
Range
Arizona.
Holotype ♂ and ♀ collected in Tucson, Arizona, W.S. Edwards.
