Catocala marmorata -
Catocala micronympha

Came to porch light, it looks to me like C. marmorata (marbled underwing) but that would be out of range for Massachusetts. Can anyone help?

Out of range?
Covell writes that it is uncommon to rare from NH to SC, and west to WI and MT. Looks like an enviable find to me!

restricted range?
Well, I was going to paste in the bugguide species page description that said range was limited Illinois south or something like that, but it's been updated this morning to say "Vermont and Illinois to Georgia and Arkansas."
