Unknown Halictid Bee - Ceratina floridana
Naples, Collier County, Florida, USA
March 14, 2013
This Halicid bee was collecting pollen from prickly pear cactus (Opuntia humifusa). The head, thorax, and abdomen are teal colored. The wings are clear where they connect to the thorax and irridesent/mauve where they cover the abdomen.
