Diastictis ventralis ?? - Diastictis

Diastictis ventralis ?? - Diastictis
Franklin County, Missouri, USA
May 17, 2013
I have three of these from way back in May. I've looked everywhere I know of trying to ID them but haven't been able to. All look like typical D. ventralis except that they obviously lack most of the white spots. I also have a typically marked one, with all the spots, and also from May,so these three are a puzzle to me. Or maybe I'm not even in the right genus? I also have one other almost identical moth except that it is more orangish, but not as orange as a typical D. argyralis. Just thought I'd submit this to see what the experts thought about these. I'm wondering if they are all just oddly marked ventralis or if they might be a different species.
