I'm pretty sure now that this is a female Speyeria callippe
It is difficult to be %100 sure without seeing the under side though, so as with many Fritillary identifications here, this is still slightly tentative. I don't think any other species in the area look just like this though, and this one is worn at a rather early date (S. callippe are usually the earliest Speyeria to fly).

I'm not sure where to draw the lines between subspecies semivirida and gallatini either, but I'm placing this one with semivirida for now.
