Phidippus otiosus - female

Phidippus otiosus - Female
Snowhill Road north of Cabin Branch Creek, Treyburn area, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
October 2, 2006
Size: 16 mm body
This spider apparently sneaked into my car while I had the windows cracked. It jumped out onto the windshield from the dashboard while I was crossing a busy intersection, startling me to no end. I parked the car and captured it for some photos.
See comments on identification.
