Aristotelia from Oakland, CA - Aristotelia argentifera

Aristotelia from Oakland, CA - Aristotelia argentifera
Knowland Park, Oakland, Alameda County, California, USA
July 25, 2013
Size: 5 mm
Aristotelia argentifera was suggested to me on iNaturalist (http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/347167) and that seems like a good match, but I'm just getting into moths so I'm pretty hesitant. Adenostema and Baccharis were both growing nearby. There isn't any Ceanothus nearby that I know of, but Rhamnus crocea is on the park check list (haven't observed it there personally). Detected using a UV light.
