Hanging Eggs - Leucochrysa insularis
Framingham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
October 3, 2006
Size: each less than 1mm long
Found two clusters like this on the same leaf. Seems reminiscent of lacewing eggs but not quite the same.

Thank you!
Had always still been wondering if this was from some other Neuropteran because of the twisty egg sacs. Guess that just happens sometimes?

Chrysopidae
Stalked eggs like these are unique to green lacewings.

Anyone?
Posted this a month ago, just thought I would comment once to see if anyone can tell me anything about these eggs, even just what order they are in.

Surely insects, at least
and probably related to lacewings, but I'm going to move them to ourr unidentified eggs section under Insects for now, so they don't get buried in ID Request.
