These photos are for Ron Hemberger and anyone else who might be able to grab and ID for this little hoverfly. Mr. Hemberger requested side views "area under the wings" and face shots.

That did it, Amy! Allograpta exotica.
The in-flight shot - nicely done - got me thinking Allograpta, and the black stripe on the face clinched it. (Toxomerus lacks the stripe.)

I'll move it if you confirm which are helpful photos and which can be frassed? Should I frass the other original post and just put the full dorsal, face and the hovering side shot from this post in the guide? What's your opinion? Thanks again!

 
I'd keep them all.
If, however, you feel an obligation to frass, the second one here could go.
