Sympetrum internum

Sympetrum internum
Spirit Sands, Spruce Woods Provincial Park, Manitoba, Canada
July 27, 2013

Moved from Meadowhawks.

Yes, semicinctum
or occidentale

I`m tending towards Sympetrum
I`m tending towards Sympetrum internum which I have often seen with infuscated wings. The leading pale veins, more obvious in hind wing, are not found in semicinctum - occidentale complex which have more dark markings towards apex of abdomen than S. internum.
See previous female S. internum with infuscated wings already posted.
