I can't find one with the yellow abdomen and yellow on the legs.

I am pretty sure it is quadra
I am pretty sure it is quadrata... but I have not seen all the species of this genus, so I wait a bit till I get it to genus...

And resist the urge to blunder into species, where I usually don't belong at all.

Have you seen this post?

I suspect your ID to genus is good,but Tropidia seems to be another candidate. Can't find anything closer in Eumerus, Syritta, Lejops or Xylotini.

This post helped broaden and consolidate my knowledge. I used to think anything with an enlarged femur was Syritta pippiens!
