Eriotremex - Eriotremex formosanus

Eriotremex - Eriotremex formosanus
Benson Creek Natural Area, Monroe County, Arkansas, USA
October 6, 2006
Specimen in the University of Arkansas Entomology Museum. It's the only specimen of Eriotremex formosanus in the collection and a new state record for Bugguide. I haven't checked with the forest entomology lab, but it may be the only specimen from Arkansas right now.

Siricidae
Yes, Eriotremex formosanus (Matsumura), and apparently the first Arkansas record. We haven't seen or recorded the species from Arkansas.
